Advance Mobility Freedom Assembly by Ainsley's Angels
IMPORTANT
The video below is useful to show which parts fit where BUT it can be misleading for an inexperienced user.
The seat is hinged at the sides. The hinge needs to be fully open, i.e. the seat side is straight, for the frame below the footplate to fit easily into the socket and close the front clamps on each side.
Once the front clamps have been closed then engage the side struts which support the seat hinge, this locks the frame rigid. If the seat hinge is allowed to bend before the side struts are engaged then it is possible that the front clamps will come undone.
NOTE When folding the frame keep the seat side straight to easily remove the frame from the sockets.
We all have our own way of putting the Freedom together, we find that having it flat on the floor rather than tipped onto its handle is better, with practice you will find which way works best for you.
