Advance Mobility Warranty


Baby Jogger/Newell (the manufacturer) warrants that the frame is free of manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the product for the original owner. Manufacturer's defects include but are not limited to the breaking of welds and frame tube damage.

Textile or soft side materials and all components other than the frame shall be warranted for one year from the date of purchase (except for tubes and tires).

The Baby Jogger/Advance Mobility brand is part of the Newell Group. Newell has informed us that this will be the final production of the Freedom model, it is being discontinued.

We are not certain how Newell will support the product with spare parts in years to come as these are usually produced when the Freedom is manufactured. In the case of a valid warranty claim they would usually replace parts or the entire pushchair, however without parts and no new supplies we do not know how Newell will fulfil the Manufacturer's Warranty.

They have not given us any reason why it is being discontinued except that they have decided to shift focus to their baby products. We have been assured that this last production is to the same high quality as every production before. We are confident in the Freedom product, which we have sold for years and have rarely experienced problems.

We have asked and received from Newell their assurances about ongoing product support and their commitment to the Manufacturer's Warranty, but please bear in mind the warranty only has value if the manufacturer is there to support it.

Proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim and the warranty is only extended to the original owner, if you need a copy of your original invoice to provide to the manufacturer then please do contact us and we will send a PDF copy to you.

To submit a warranty claim email babyjoggereurope@newellco.com or go through their online form here, you will need to provide them with proof of purchase, a photo of the problem and the serial number of the pushchair (on a label on the frame). We do not have access to the Manufacturer's warranty system, and they do not accept warranty claims direct from the retailer so we cannot give you updates on the progress of your claim with Newell/Baby Jogger. Shipping is not covered under the warranty as it is a service that is provided by an outside source. All decisions regarding whether a product is under warranty or not is at the discretion of Newell/Baby Jogger.

The Manufacturer's warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Corrosion or rust
  • Incorrect assembly, DIY fixes causing loss of parts/damage, or the installation of third-party parts or accessories not compatible with the original design
  • Accidental or intentional damage, abuse or neglect
  • Commercial use
  • Improper storage/care of the unit

IMPORTANT The warranty is operated in the UK by the UK distributor. If you are outside of the UK then you may need to return it to the UK in the event of a claim on the warranty. The distributor is responsible for the direct costs of fulfilling the warranty but not for any costs related to sending it to the UK or returning it to you. Similarly any parts sent out will require payment of transport charges for delivery if outside the UK.
